🌟 Drum Club creates opportunities for people to connect, build confidence and develop new skills through the shared experience of making music.
Drum Club creates opportunities for people to connect, build confidence and develop new skills through the shared experience of making music. The project responds to loneliness and social isolation by providing accessible creative activities where people from different backgrounds can come together and participate.
The programme will deliver weekly drumming sessions between June 2026 and March 2027, welcoming participants regardless of age, experience or musical ability. Alongside the regular sessions, a summer celebration event will bring together participants from across the programme for a public performance celebrating their achievements.
By removing barriers to participation and creating a welcoming environment, Drum Club helps people form new connections, improve wellbeing and engage with culture in a meaningful way. Previous evaluation has shown the programme successfully brings together people who may not otherwise take part in creative activities.
