⭐ Wellbeing Boxes for Housebound City Residents supports people who are unable to attend community activities due to disability, illness, isolation or reduced mobility.
Wellbeing Boxes for Housebound City Residents supports people who are unable to attend community activities due to disability, illness, isolation or reduced mobility. Through previous community work, Forget Me Not Memory Café identified a need for meaningful activities that people can enjoy from home while staying connected and engaged.
The project will create 30 personalised wellbeing boxes for housebound residents, designed around the interests and needs of each individual. Boxes will include creative activities, craft materials, sensory items, exercise resources, puzzles, poems and tools to support relaxation and emotional wellbeing.
By providing opportunities for creativity, movement and connection, the project aims to help residents feel supported, valued and engaged. The boxes offer a practical way to reduce loneliness and encourage people to continue enjoying activities that improve quality of life.
