The project provides a safe, trauma-informed space where participants can explore creativity, rebuild confidence and develop new ways to express their experiences.

Delivered at the We Restart hub in Barbican, the six-month programme will support a group of Asian women through weekly creative workshops led by artist Sujata Setia alongside wellbeing support. Participants will use photography and origami techniques, including recycled materials from the Art Bank Initiative, to create personal artwork reflecting their journeys.

The project will culminate in a public exhibition during Womenโ€™s History Month, sharing participantsโ€™ stories and celebrating their creativity. Through art and connection, Reclaiming Stories creates pathways towards healing, confidence and community.
