On Tuesday 13 May 2025 South Place Hotel welcomed Flor de Caña to The Secret Garden Rooftop Bar, transforming the space into a tropical escape with rainforest leaves, lavish florals arrangements, waterfalls and a very special barrel that will change the way you taste your rum forever.
🏆 Flor de Caña shines for its award winning, sustainable spirits with a rich history. The brand began when founder Alfredo Francisco pursued a new vision – of making a rum in Nicaragua. Known as the land of lakes and volcanoes, the breathtaking landscape at the base of Nicaragua’s tallest active volcano, the San Cristóbal, offered mineral-rich soil and water, and a unique tropical climate that would be instrumental in forging an exceptionally smooth rum of deeply nuanced flavour. 135 years later Flor de Caña’s ingredients are still grown in the spectacular Nicaragua location, utilising the natural richness of the land.
✨ The launch dinner showcased a specially curated food and drink menu featuring the award-winning sustainable rum, Flor de Caña. Set against the backdrop of a hidden outdoor terrace in the heart of the City, guests were treated to a luxurious dining experience in a space adorned with twinkling lights, lush hanging plants and calming waterfalls.
