Ahead of Valentine’s Day the Poetry Takeaway was serving up high quality, personalised poetry to their diners, written, performed and wrapped up to takeaway. We were situated in the courtyard of St Bartholomew’s Hospital between Monday and Wednesday. We met some amazing people all with unique stories of their own including Valentine’s Day surprises and Birthday messages.
All poems were created FREE of charge, the takeaway chefs took time to speak to each customer, find out more about who the poem is for and what they would like to hear. We worked in partnership with Vital Arts, The Poetry Takeaway and St Bartholomew’s Hospital.
