The January Challenge – Become a Creativity Champion

We have an exciting opportunity to bring some cheer and creativity into the dark Winter months!

The Culture Mile Business Improvement District are partnering with social enterprise 64 Million Artists to deliver The January Challenge – a month of quick, fun and accessible creative prompts throughout January.

Everyone is creative, and The January Challenge is an opportunity for you to tap into that creativity, explore new ideas and start something new. There is a broad evidence base to prove that creativity supports our well-being, enabling people to face challenges in different ways, solve problems, bring people together and create opportunities for play and joy.

Get involved with The January Challenge within the Culture Mile BID in early 2024:

  • Sign up to The January Challenge and receive a free creative prompt in your email inbox every day throughout the month.

What can you expect? 31 days of fun, quick and free creative prompts to kickstart the year. In 2023, over 50,000 people took part and 85% of 1000 people surveyed said that it had a positive impact on their wellbeing.

Each creative prompt is designed by different people and communities across the UK, and is a celebration of creativity in all of its forms. There’s something for everyone – including you! Explore the prompts on your own, with family, friends – or, use them to inspire creative meetings or conversations at work.

  • Become a Creativity Champion – could you inspire others in your workplace community to be creative?

64 Million Artists are delivering a structured 2 hour training programme open to all businesses and residents in the culture mile. The session will give you the ideas, resources and confidence to be a Creativity Champion in your workplace or community throughout 2024. We will explore how creative facilitation can foster inclusive cultures, innovation and support better engagement in your groups, teams and communities.

This workshop will be held at The Barbican, Silk Street, EC2Y 8DS from 14.00 – 17.00 on Tuesday 16th January.
