To round off the festival in style, our own choir will be joined by the City’s resident orchestra to present a mixture of well-known works (Handel Zadok the Priest, Bernstein Chichester Psalms), new arrangements of familiar classics (Vaughan Williams Fantasia on a Theme of Thomas Tallis, Faure Pavane pour une infante defunte) and some exciting more recent works (Vasks Fruits of Silence, Tabakova Centuries of Meditation) that evoke 900 years of prayer and music in the unique atmosphere of London’s oldest church.
