Kokedama making lunchtime workshop

Join us for this free lunchtime workshop. Connect with others over a sandwich lunch and make your own Kokedama to take away with you.

Jar and Fern will teach you how to create your own unique Japanese hanging plant arrangements, or ‘Kokedama’. ‘Kokedama’ translates from the Japanese words for moss (‘koke’) and ball (‘dama’) – it is the art of freeing a plant from it’s container and planting it in a moss covered soil/clay ball. These look great hanging just about anywhere and are nice and simple to look after.

Jar and Fern will provide all the information and equipment you need to make two of your own hanging Kokedama, using Asparagus Fern and Hedera Ivy as well as instruction on how you can make many more in the future – they make great gifts! Click here to book your tickets.

Huge thanks to the University of Chicago Booth School of Business for hosting us in their fantastic Grand Hall.
