This spring, Culture Mile BID is helping our community get road ready with Spring on Your Bike. A dedicated cycling safety and support day featuring bike and phone marking with the City of London Police, maintenance checks from Dr Bike, plus interactive pop ups from Love to Ride and Lime to promote safer, greener travel across the Culture Mile.

Get a free bicycle health check along with free basic on the spot repairs and maintenance work.

🚲 Bike Marking with the City of London Police
A free crime prevention service where officers help cyclists make their bikes less attractive to thieves by applying a unique security mark and registering the frame details with the national BikeRegister database. A system used by police forces across the UK to identify and trace stolen bikes back to their owners.
📲 Phone Marking
Get your phone marked with a unique, discreet identifier so that if it’s lost or stolen and later recovered, the marking helps the police quickly verify ownership and return it to you. It’s part of City of London Police’s wider Operation Swipe initiative to tackle mobile phone snatching in the Square Mile.
💗 Love Your Bike Pop Up with Love to Ride
Love to Ride is all about inspiring more people in the Culture Mile to get on their bikes and make everyday rides more fun and rewarding. Love to Ride is a free online platform and app where anyone from first time cyclists to regular riders can log their bike trips, join seasonal challenges, set personal goals, track their impact and earn badges and prizes along the way.
At the pop-up, you’ll be able to learn more about signing up, discover how riding can become part of your daily routine and see what campaigns and support are available to help you ride more often, whether for commuting, fitness or fun.
