Kick off the festive season with the Culture Mile Christmas Lights Trail Launch in the beautiful St Bartholomew’s Hospital Courtyard. Enjoy a cosy evening filled with mulled wine, mince pies and plenty of Christmas cheer as the Culture Mile lights up for the festive season. Follow the trail to discover sparkling installations and hidden festive gems across the area. You can download the trail map from the Culture Mile BID website, or pick up one of the limited printed copies available on the night.

🎄 LIGHTS ON MOMENT – GUILDHALL YARD CHRISTMAS TREE | Wednesday 26 November | 🕔 17:00 – 19:30

Join us for a magical ‘Lights-On’ moment as the Guildhall Yard Christmas Tree shines bright for the first time. This festive celebration brings together the Big Christmas Party and the Christmas Lights Trail, creating an evening full of sparkle, music and community. Gather with friends and colleagues to watch the grand switch-on and celebrate the start of Christmas in the Culture Mile.

Experience the warmth of the season at our Community Carol Service outside St Giles’ Cripplegate, where joyful voices will fill the air with festive cheer. Sing along to your favourite carols as gentle flurries from the snow machine create a magical winter scene. With a full PA system to carry the music through the square, it’s the perfect way to come together and celebrate Christmas in the Culture Mile.

Get creative at our Christmas Wreath Making Workshops at the London Museum Studios. Join us for a relaxed lunchtime session, where you’ll craft your own festive wreath to take home. With two workshops available and a sandwich lunch included, it’s the perfect midday escape to add a personal touch to your Christmas celebrations.
