🌳 Walking Tour: Wellbeing and Green Spaces
🕥 10:30 – 11:30
During this tour we will find out why all roads lead to Smithfield and discover its important links with two English kings named Henry. We hear about the important role of medieval monasteries and their legacy. We also track down rare species in a tranquil park, the perfect spot for a lunchtime sandwich. And we see how the Roman settlement of Londinium influenced the iconic Barbican estate.
Led by City of London Guide and wellbeing champion, Sarah Williams-Robbins, aka Mrs Londoner, this walk is a great opportunity to discover landmark buildings and green spaces. It’s also a chance to spend a refreshing hour away from workplaces and computer screens to experience the real world. Take this opportunity to meet new people or to spend time with colleagues and neighbours in an informal, relaxed setting.
